We get asked all the time “How do I organize my pantry like a pro?” and this is finally a complete guide on how to organize your pantry. Our biggest organizing secret: QVC! A well-organized pantry saves you time and energy and helps you reduce food waste by keeping track of what you have on hand. Here’s how we organized our pantry with QVC!
We’ve all been there: rifling through our pantry searching for something we need, only to come up empty-handed. Or even worse, we find something that expired months ago — yuck! When you get to this point, or if you just want to be proactive, it’s time to take control of your pantry organization.
Let’s dive into our QVC makeover!
Step 1: Download a Spring Cleaning Checklist!
We created a free checklist to help with your spring cleaning! Consider this your go-to checklist for quarterly cleaning.
Step 2: Clear out the clutter
The first step in organizing your pantry is clearing out expired or unwanted items. Check the expiration dates on all food items and dispose of anything that has expired! If you have unopened items that you know you won’t use, consider donating them to a local food bank or shelter. This will free up space in your pantry and help those in need — a win-win!

Step 3: Invest in storage solutions
Invest in storage solutions that work for your pantry. Not only will clear containers keep your pantry looking tidy, but they’ll also help you see what you have on hand. Whether you’re wondering how to organize a small pantry or how to organize a walk-in pantry, these QVC products are perfect!! This set of three storage bins is seriously a pantry essential!!!
We use large baskets for bulkier items like paper towels or to hide large appliances like the air fryer! Metal baskets are good for storing boxed or packaged items like chips, mac n cheese, or bread! A lazy Susan can be a great addition to your pantry, especially for oils, vinegars, and nut butters.
Before adding our food to all these amazing containers, we like to wash them in warm soapy water! Then we allow them to dry thoroughly before filling them up with food.
Step 4: Categorize your items
Once you’ve cleared out the clutter, categorize your items. Group similar items together, such as pasta, rice, and grains. Keep all baking items in one area, and group all canned goods together. By categorizing your items, you’ll be able to find what you need quickly and easily.
These plastic storage bins make it easy to organize your pantry by category! And this 9-piece pantry organization is great for snacks like nuts or goldfish.
Use clear containers or jars to store dry goods such as pasta, rice, and cereal. These honey-can-do 3-piece glass canisters are perfect for baking goods, pasta, and snacks! Plus the copper lids are so cute!
Step 5: Label everything
Labeling your storage containers is essential for maintaining an organized pantry. We use these aesthetic pantry labels! These make it so easy to find what you need while cooking or when you’re running low on something.
DIY PROJECT: We used Metallic Gold Spray paint on the cereal dispenser knobs to change them from silver to ENVY gold! It only took a few minutes to customize these bins.
Another pantry essential we’re obsessed with is these cereal containers! They’re especially great to see when you’re running low on cereal and they’re easy for kids to use!
Step 6: Keep it organized
Finally, maintain your organized pantry by keeping it tidy. Every time you bring home groceries, take a few minutes to put everything away in its designated spot. Regularly check expiration dates and dispose of any expired items. By taking small steps to maintain your pantry organization, you’ll save time, reduce food waste, and make cooking and meal planning a breeze!
Organizing your pantry can seem like a daunting task, but with QVC products and these simple steps, you’ll have a well-organized pantry in no time!
