As April approaches, excitement fills the air for Stetson as we eagerly await the arrival of her baby boy!! To celebrate this joyous occasion, Margaret, with the help of Stetson’s sister, Jackie, planned a whimsical adventure-themed baby shower that captured the essence of imagination and wonder.
With a vision inspired by the spirit of exploration, the theme was set: teddy bears on an adventure! Every detail was carefully curated to transport guests to a world of adventure, perfectly reflecting the journey that awaits Stetson.

Teddy Bear Baby Shower Decor
The room was adorned with dreamy décor, like fairy lights, star garland, balloons, blue arches, books, and teddy bears! Each table had a different theme, set up with a bear and props:
- Dino
- Safari
- Pirates
- Western
- Fantasy
And we had one more bear set up on the games table dressed up in a cute yellow raincoat!

Baby Shower Activities & Games
To help things run smoothly and keep us on track for time, we created an itinerary. It worked perfectly as our guests knew exactly what to do upon arrival and what to expect!
Here’s what our baby shower itinerary entailed:
- Drop off luggage (Diapers, gifts, & books)
- Get passport photo taken
- Go to game table
- Choose an adventure (Pck a seat at a table)
- Visit the mother-to-be
- Get some food & drinks
- Complete games
- Bring completed games back to game table
Here are the baby shower games we planned!
- Diaper raffle
- Guess the ages of mom and dad (from photos of Stetson & Brandon when they were little)
- Guess the pregnant belly size with a strand of yarn
- Draw the baby! Stetson’s sister Jackie had pre-drawn four styles of blank baby heads for guests to draw what they thought the baby would look like. Stetson chose her favorite one for the prize! This gave everyone a lot of laughs.
We kept the prizes simple — the winners got a $20 Amazon gift card.
Easy baby shower activity:
- Alphabet Book – Jackie made a separate page for each letter of the alphabet and guests drew pictures of things that start with that letter. These pages will be scanned and made into a book for baby Weichers!
Photo Backdrop
Here’s what we used in this photo backdrop area — AKA, the “passport photo” booth!
Margaret & Jackie created a photo album for Stetson with the photo booth pictures, “what does baby look like” cards, and advice cards from each guest! We thought it would be a cute keepsake since oftentimes, people play fun games at showers but then everything just gets thrown away. This way, Stetson can keep all the advice cards, pictures, and fun memories to look back on!
Baby Shower Food & Drinks
Thanks so much to Harry & David and Wolferman’s (a local Oregon business!) for sending us so many amazing brunch goodies! Our guests enjoyed an assortment of delicious pastries, treats and chocolate covered fruit! Everything was SUCH a hit – we highly recommend them to cater any event you have coming up!
Thanks to Bear Naked Granola for helping us out with our yogurt parfait bar! The perfect choice to match our theme.
Honey Mama’s was a yummy way to keep the bear theme going in a subtle way!
Of course we used Lolly’s Home Kitchen to make our custom cookies. Aren’t they absolutely adorable?
Poppi and Delola were such a hit at our Mother’s Day Brunch, we obviously had to use them again for this event!! Of course everyone’s drinks turned out super cute and absolutely delicious!
We loved dressing up our drinks with fruit, star cocktail picks, berry flavored sugar rimmer, and crystal candy sticks!
Baby Shower Favors
We partnered with Alter Eco, Alani Nutrition, Alleyoop, Minted, Bear Naked Granola, & Earth Mama Organics for our goodie bags!
We kept the bear theme going in the goodie bags by partnering with Bear Naked Granola, Sugarbear Pro, NCLA Beauty (the bear on their packaging is so cute!) and since all bears love honey, Beekeeper’s Naturals!!
